RECon Forum Jeddah will be held at the Hilton Hotel Jeddah, 7th & 8th May 2017

Saudi Arabia, May 3, 2017 – The Middle East Council of Shopping Centres (MECSC) hosts the first RECon Forum Jeddah on 7th& 8th of May at the Hilton Hotel, Jeddah Saudi Arabia.

RECon Forum Jeddah is themed “Retail of the Future – Saudi Vision 2013”; the event is under the patronage of HRH Prince Mishaal bin Majed Al Saud, The Governor of Jeddah and in association with Jeddah Chamber, Jeddah Tourism Development Council and Saudi Commission for Tourism & National Heritage.

David Macadam, CEO, MECSC says, “This year we are pleased to offer the very first Recon Forum Jeddah; aiming to highlight expert industry speakers & influencers from the GCC and the Saudi region in a large platform. We have enjoyed tremendous support and encouragement from the Saudi region to host the RECon Jeddah Forum.”

RECon Jeddah Forum is jointly organized by the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres (MECSC) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce; begins on Sunday 7th of May opened by David Macadam – CEO MECSC, Mohammad Alawi – CEO Red Sea Mall & Bill Kistler – Executive VP/ MD ICSC with a welcome speech by Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel – Chairman Jeddah Chamber followed by an awarding ceremony – the first day will be packed with expert speakers and a panel discussion on “Flood of Regulations for the Retail Industry, VAT, Competition How To Survive And Prosper While We Make The Successes to Arrive At 2030”. The Forum will run till Monday 8th of May, the day will commence with a Keynote address by Ali Al Saloom – Author, Cultural Consultant, Professional Speaker & TV show host highlighting “The Future of Retail in the GCC. How to Win In this Ever Changing Industry?” the day will progress with expert speakers and will end with the Launch of the Joint MECSC/Retailers education program in Saudi by Prakash Menon – Founder/ Executive Chairman – Global Retail Academy.
