Riyadh, August 31, 2026, SPA -- The Saudi Green Building Forum announced that it will participate with a 15-member delegation in the 31st session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP31), scheduled to take place in Antalya, the Republic of Türkiye, from November 9 to 20, 2026.
The forum will participate under a theme centered on the road to Antalya, financing the transition in the built environment, and its economic, environmental, and social impacts. Its contribution will focus on the role of financial institutions and the private sector in funding the shift toward a more sustainable built environment. It will also link climate finance to economic, environmental, and social outcomes and showcase Saudi experiences and initiatives supporting Saudi Vision 2030 and Saudi Arabia's target of achieving net-zero emissions by 2060.
The forum holds accredited observer status with the UN conventions on climate change, desertification, and biological diversity. It also has consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council and is accredited by the United Nations Environment Programme.
