Riyadh, October 14, 2026, SPA -- Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor Dr. Abdullah Abuthnain met yesterday with European Union (EU) Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Christophe Farnaud at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh.
The meeting addressed issues of mutual interest, including labor market priorities, developments in skills and training, employment, and the exchange of expertise and successful practices.
Dr. Abuthnain highlighted the ministry's ongoing efforts and initiatives to protect the rights of all parties and align workforce skills with current and future labor market needs.
Farnaud praised the ministry's efforts and reaffirmed the EU's commitment to strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest and further developing the existing partnership.
