Arar, September 04, 2026, SPA -- More than 130 parks and public gardens across the cities and governorates of Northern Borders Region are welcoming residents and visitors as temperatures fall and the weather becomes milder, with growing numbers of people heading to open spaces, walking tracks, and recreational and sports facilities.
The parks are seeing increased attendance, particularly in the evening, as families and individuals enjoy the mild weather and take part in sports and recreational activities. Meanwhile, the municipality continues maintenance and rehabilitation work on facilities, including walkways, lighting, green spaces, children's play areas, and sports facilities.
The parks and public gardens offer green spaces, seating areas, pedestrian paths, children's play areas, playgrounds, and sports facilities, enhancing quality of life, encouraging physical activity, and providing opportunities to spend leisure time outdoors.
