Jeddah, August 7, 2026, SPA -- The Tour Guides Cooperative Society in Jeddah, in cooperation with the Saudi Association for Hearing Impairment, organized a training and field program with the support of the Ministry of Culture, represented by the Jeddah Historic District Program and the Red Sea Museum. The initiative aims to equip tourist guides with communication skills to interact effectively with people with hearing disabilities and enhance access to cultural and historical experiences for all members of society.
The program, held in the Jeddah Historic District, brought together licensed tourist guides and a number of people with hearing disabilities as part of efforts to further develop the tourism guiding profession and improve the quality of services provided to visitors. This initiative aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance quality of life and promote inclusive access to tourist destinations.
