April 2023, Riyadh, KSA - Mohammed Marghalani, Cluster General Manager Ritz-Carlton Riyadh and Jeddah, has been awarded the title of ‘General Manager of The Year’ for The Ritz-Carlton Worldwide at the 2023 (MILUX) Marriott International Luxury Brands General Managers Conference, held recently in Abu Dhabi on the 14th of March, 2023.
The prestigious award is presented annually to a General Manager who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, as well as exceptional guest service and financial performance. This year’s award winner, Mr. Marghalani, was recognized for his ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining high levels of employee engagement and guest satisfaction at both of his properties.
Mohammed Marghalani boasts a vast 17 years of experience in hotels, hospitality and tourism, and a proven track record with leading luxury hotel brands. After steering The Ritz-Carlton Riyadh to success, being named The Best Luxury Palace Hotel in the Middle East at The World Luxury Awards 2022, Marghalani had The Ritz-Carlton Jeddah added to his remit earlier in 2022. A beloved GM with a solid understanding of Saudi hospitality, he has taken two of Marriott’s most important Saudi hotels to even greater heights.
Marghalani seeks to enhance the brand's presence locally, regionally and globally, whilst improving service quality, and implement the brand's overarching strategies. His future vision aligns with Ritz-Carlton's strategy to attract and develop national talents to take the tourism sector to the next level, and qualify local leaders.
