Jeddah, February 23, 2026, SPA -- His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, at an iftar table at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah. At the outset of the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the Egyptian president to his second country, the Kingdom, while the president expressed his thanks to HRH the Crown Prince for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the close and historic bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop them further across various fields. They also discussed a number of issues on the Arab and Islamic fronts, developments in the Middle East, and efforts exerted in this regard, particularly files related to the security and stability of the region. The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah; Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban; Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet for Shura Council Affairs Dr. Issam bin Saad bin Saeed; President of the General Intelligence Presidency Khalid Al-Humaidan, and the Egyptian president's accompanying delegation.
