Riyadh, June 22, 2026, SPA -- According to the National Center for Meteorology, thunderstorms with hail and gusty winds are expected to continue in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Maximum temperatures will continue to rise in Eastern Region, while gusty winds and blowing dust will continue in parts of the region, as well as parts of Madinah, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and Northern Borders regions.

Winds over the Red Sea will be northerly to northwesterly in the northern and central parts at speeds of 20-45 km/h, and northwesterly to westerly in the southern part at speeds of 10-32 km/h, reaching 45 km/h during thunderstorms. Waves may range from half a meter to two meters, exceeding two meters during thunderstorms; the sea will be slight to moderate.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to northeasterly in the southern part, at speeds of 10-35 km/h. Waves may range from half a meter to one and a half meters; the sea will be slight to moderate.
