Summer pilgrimage season witnesses rising temperatures Riyadh: Following alerts received from the National Meteorological Center, Saudi Health issued a warning to pilgrims on Monday, June 26, about the possibility of heat stress due to direct exposure to the sun, as this year's Hajj is coinciding with the summer season.
The ministry recommended using an umbrella, drinking plenty of fluids, and avoiding unnecessary physical activities during daylight hours.
