John Cena Headlines Tag Team Match at Wwe Fastlane This Weekend

The WWE Icon and Hollywood superstar made his return to the WWE ring in September with new WWE stars eyeing contests with the legend  

 
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 4 October 2023 - The recent return of WWE legend John Cena has sparked international interest with the Hollywood star making headlines in his return to the sport and enemies across the WWE roster. In his latest major contest, Cena will join forces with LA Knight in a tantalizing Tag Team match up against The Bloodline’s Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa at WWE Fastlane this weekend. 
 
The tension has been ever present since the reemergence of Cena in the WWE ring, with the new WWE superstars vying for their chance to take on “The Greatest of All Time” and make history. Following run-ins with Sikoa and Uso outside the ring, Cena will stand against the duo on Saturday night in Indianapolis.  
 
Current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins looks to continue his undisputed Championship reign in a highly anticipated rematch with Shinsuke Nakamura in a brutal Last Man Standing contest this weekend.  
 
Rollins, enjoying his successful tenture as the first World Heavyweight Champion, will be wary of the challenge that Nakamura provides, with the Japanese star eyeing up a chance at championship glory in the headline contest at WWE Fastlane.  
 
In a fiery Triple Threat Match, WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY will look to defend her championship against two of WWE’s most decorated stars in Charlotte Flair and Asuka. With a true battle of alternative styles on display, IYO SKY will be aiming to maintain her title reign since earning the championship at SummerSlam while Flair and Asuka eye up a return to the top of the sport with a  victory.  
 
The clash of wrestling philosophies will continue as Rey Mysterio alongside the Latino Wrestling Organisation (LWO) will take on Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits in a Six-Man Tag Team contest this weekend.  
 
Mysterio, the Hall of Famer and current WWE United States Champion, challenged Lashley and The Street Profits to the tag team matchup following weeks of aggravation from Lashley and his crew, with the Legendary Luchador deciding to put an end to the backstage antics to bring a clash that fans all over the world are looking forward to seeing play out.
