Mawhiba and the University of New Haven Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Support Gifted Students

Riyadh, July 28, 2026, SPA -- The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) and the University of New Haven - Riyadh have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on developing and supporting gifted students at both the secondary and university levels. The partnership aims to expand academic and enrichment opportunities for talented students, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to develop human capabilities and empower national talent.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mawhiba Secretary-General Abdulaziz Al-Karidis and the University of New Haven's Senior Vice President, Dr. Leo Lester.

Under the MoU, the two organizations will work together to provide academic enrichment and summer programs within Saudi Arabia for gifted students in secondary schools and universities. They will also develop a dedicated program for outstanding members of the Mawhiba community enrolled at the University of New Haven - Riyadh.

In addition, the agreement includes cooperation in offering summer and study programs for high-achieving Mawhiba students at the University of New Haven's main campus in the United States, as well as developing specialized training and professional development programs.
