Civil Defense Director General Leads Ministry of Interior Delegation to Italy's Civil Protection Department

Rome, November 7, 2025, SPA -- Director General of Civil Defense Major General Dr. Hammoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj led a Ministry of Interior delegation on an official visit to the headquarters of Italy’s Civil Protection Department to enhance cooperation in civil defense and civil protection and to exchange operational and technical expertise. The meeting was attended by the department’s head, Fabio Ciciliano.

During the visit, the delegation took part in the Italian Civil Protection readiness exercise in Naples. The exercise aimed to improve coordination and strengthen rapid-response capabilities in emergencies and disasters, as part of broader efforts to deepen international cooperation and develop strategic partnerships in civil defense and crisis management.
