Riyadh, January 28, 2026, SPA -- His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received Professor Omar Yaghi at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh today on the occasion of his winning the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, jointly with two other scientists. HRH the Crown Prince congratulated Professor Omar Yaghi on receiving the award, which reflects international recognition and appreciation of his efforts and contributions in the field of chemistry, wishing him continued success. For his part, Professor Omar Yaghi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Crown Prince for the meeting and for the support and encouragement he has received in his field of work. The meeting comes within the framework of the Kingdom’s growing interest in research, development, and innovation.
