Superfan Program at Esports World Cup Welcomes Most Devoted Fans

Riyadh, August 13, 2025, SPA -- With over 2,000 players from more than 100 countries, this year's Esports World Cup has become a truly global event, reflecting the cultural diversity of participating teams whose fans have traveled to the Kingdom to witness elite professional esports competitions.

Like traditional sports, esports enjoys a massive fan base, distinctive team identities, and vibrant communities united by passion and loyalty. Each team features standout players and emerging talents who employ complex tactics and face challenging matches, making esports a sport in every sense and positioning it to lead the global entertainment scene in the near future.

To ensure dedicated fans could join this global spectacle, the Esports World Cup Foundation launched the Superfan Program—an unprecedented initiative offering the most loyal supporters the chance to attend the championship in Riyadh for an unforgettable experience.

According to Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) Superfan Program Manager Aysel Ahmadova, the initiative was designed to honor elite esports fans by allowing them to support their clubs from the heart of the event and uniquely represent their communities. She noted that the program opened new horizons by hosting fans from various countries, adding a different dimension to the championship and fostering cultural exchange.

The program goes beyond access to Boulevard Riyadh City by offering full travel arrangements, exclusive experiences, player meet-and-greets, and more. The EWCF worked closely with 44 esports clubs to support campaigns and competitions that allowed fans to demonstrate their loyalty and secure their place in the program. This gave supporters an unprecedented opportunity to cheer for their teams and favorite players, while participating teams from outside the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region enjoyed enthusiastic backing from their fans, even far from home.

Fans from around the globe also shared their teams’ cultures and traditions through chants, banners, flags, and live interactions at Boulevard Riyadh City, creating a rich cultural exchange and embodying a unique blend of global communities united by their love of esports.
