KSrelief Masam Project Clears 767 Explosives in Yemen in One Week

Aden, September 9, 2025, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) Masam Project cleared 767 explosives from Yemeni territory during the first week of September.

The cleared explosives included 726 pieces of unexploded ordnance, 30 anti-tank mines, eight anti-personnel mines, and three improvised explosive devices.
The total number of explosives removed since the project began has reached 513,090. The devices had been planted indiscriminately across Yemen, endangering the lives of civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.

Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, continues its efforts to clear landmines in Yemen under the Masam Project, aimed at safeguarding civilians and helping Yemenis regain a safe and dignified life.
