Riyadh, September 9, 2025, SPA -- Riyadh entered the countdown phase with 60 days remaining until the launch of the Islamic Solidarity Games Riyadh 2025. On November 7, the Saudi capital will welcome athletes from 57 countries in a multi-sport event that reinforces the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for major events and celebrates the spirit of brotherhood and unity among the peoples of the Islamic world. The sixth edition of the games returns to Saudi Arabia 20 years after the inaugural edition in Makkah in 2005, in a scene that combines the depth of memory with the brilliance of the present. Chairman of the Islamic Solidarity Games Supreme Organizing Committee Prince Fahd bin Jalawi affirmed Riyadh’s readiness to host the event, praising the support of the Kingdom’s leadership and the integrated work with partners from both the public and private sectors. He welcomed athletes and fans to an environment that ensures the highest organizational and service standards, stressing that the games are not only a competition but also a platform for interaction, inspiration, and knowledge exchange, as well as a starting point for new success stories for athletes.
