Saudi Arabia Continues Developing Postal and Logistics Sector for Vision 2030, Transport Vice Minister Says

Dubai, September 9, 2025, SPA -- In his speech at the Universal Postal Congress in Dubai, Vice Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Dr. Rumaih Al-Rumaih affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to developing its postal and logistics sector in line with Saudi Vision 2030. This includes digital transformation, improving supply chains, and expanding international partnerships.

He emphasized that Saudi Arabia has prioritized the sector to create a national logistics platform designed to support e-commerce and boost economic and social development. He stressed the need for collaboration and knowledge exchange to ensure a resilient future for the sector.
Al-Rumaih commended the United Arab Emirates for its outstanding hosting and organization of the event. He noted that the conference highlights the postal sector's crucial role in connecting the world and fostering sustainable development.

He called for continued joint efforts to create more efficient postal systems. In his concluding remarks, he affirmed that Saudi Arabia will remain an active supporter of the goals of the Universal Postal Congress to build a more integrated and sustainable future for the sector.
