Riyadh, October 28, 2025, SPA -- The Investment Council on Monday held its third meeting, chaired by Minister of Investment and Investment Council Chairman Khalid Al-Falih, with the participation of Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef. The meeting was hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, and attended by several council members from both the public and private sectors, along with a distinguished group of local and international experts and investors. The meeting focused on discussing ways to enhance the attractiveness of the investment environment in the Kingdom and exploring the enablers provided to attract high-quality local and global investments. It reviewed proposed recommendations for improving the investment landscape and fostering partnerships between the public and private sectors, in line with the National Investment Strategy. The efforts aim to solidify the Kingdom’s position as a global investment destination and maximize the impact of investments in diversifying the national economy, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. During the meeting, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources presented an overview of the National Industrial Strategy and its integration with other national strategies, foremost among them the National Investment Strategy and relevant localization initiatives. The ministry highlighted promising opportunities in the industrial sector, the competitive advantages of the sector’s investment environment, and the progress made in developing industrial city infrastructure. Additionally, the ministry shed light on the Industrial Sector Competitiveness Program and the Standard Incentives for the Industrial Sector. The convening of the Investment Council formed part of an ongoing series of meetings held in partnership with government entities and strategic sectors in the Kingdom. The council had previously convened two meetings in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Planning and the Capital Market Authority. The council is one of the key initiatives supporting the National Investment Strategy, aimed at enhancing the Kingdom’s position in the global investment landscape. It seeks to foster constructive dialogue between the public and private sectors to develop investment solutions and policies, building a thriving and sustainable investment ecosystem.
