Riyadh, January 27, 2026, SPA -- The King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Riyadh will host the seventh annual Saudi Cup on February 13-14, in what promises to be the largest horse racing event in history in terms of prize money and international attention. The event will feature participation from top horses and jockeys from across the globe. International horses are scheduled to begin arriving in the Kingdom on February 3 to compete in the two-day event, which offers total prize money of $39.6 million, attracting elite owners, trainers, and riders from around the world. The local presence is also strong, with a selection of ambitious Saudi horses having secured their spots in the Saudi Cup races. They qualified through outstanding performances two weeks ago in events organized by the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia, held as part of a race night in the name of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup.
