Riyadh, January 29, 2026, SPA -- The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) set a new Guinness World Records title for the 16th National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity (Ibdaa 2026), recognized as the largest innovation solutions competition in the world. The achievement reflects the Kingdom’s leading position in supporting innovation and developing human capital. The achievement came after participating students submitted over 34,000 scientific projects to compete in Ibdaa 2026, which recorded more than 357,000 students from across the Kingdom - the highest number in the competition’s history. This represents a 22.7% increase compared to last year, reflecting the expanding national participation base and the growing culture of research and innovation among Saudi students.
