Riyadh, February 5, 2026, SPA -- His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on Wednesday received at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh Federal Republic of Germany Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Official reception ceremonies were held in honor of the German chancellor, and HRH the Crown Prince held an official session of talks with him. At the outset of the session, HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the German chancellor to the Kingdom, while Chancellor Merz expressed his pleasure at this visit and at meeting HRH the Crown Prince. The two leaders reviewed aspects of bilateral relations, areas of cooperation, and opportunities to further develop them across various sectors. They discussed the latest regional and international developments and the efforts being undertaken in that regards.
