Riyadh, April 27, 2026, SPA -- The Ministry of Interior confirmed that expatriates who overstay their visas will face a fine of up to SAR50,000, imprisonment for up to six months, and deportation. The ministry urged all individuals to comply with the regulations governing the 1447 AH Hajj season and to cooperate with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims. Violators will be subject to legal penalties. The ministry also called for reporting violations by dialing 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
