Buraidah, June 9, 2026, SPA -- Qassim Region Governor Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz received a report on Qassim University's participation in the 1447 AH Hajj season, commending the university's efforts and contributions to serving pilgrims and its hosting of the National Crowd Management Forum ahead of the season. The report said university students recorded 27,360 volunteer hours over 10 days in three tracks: the scouting track, health services, and veterinary services for Hady and Udhiyah. The university's scouts also earned 40 excellence medals out of 100 and secured seven top positions among 28 entities taking part with the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association. Fieldwork involved 68 scouts, 62 male and female volunteers in health services, and 98 male and female volunteers in veterinary services. Qassim University President Dr. Mohammed Al Sharikh affirmed the university's pride in the efforts of its male and female volunteers and its community role in supporting national initiatives and serving pilgrims.
