Dentons boosts Middle East practice with Counsel and litigator hires in Saudi Arabia Jeddah, 27 October 2019: Dentons has expanded its practice in Saudi Arabia with the hire of experienced corporate practitioner Imtyaz Sattar who joins as Counsel and highly regarded Saudi litigator Salman Aloraifi who joins as Associate, both based in the Firm's Jeddah office. Imtyaz and Salman join Dentons from K&A in association with Allen & Overy. Imtyaz has over ten years of experience advising on commercial and corporate, capital markets, government regulatory and joint venture matters for major international and local companies in Saudi Arabia with a particular focus on the oil and gas sector. Imtyaz is qualified in Ontario, Canada and had worked in Toronto for a number of years before moving to Riyadh. A Georgetown University alumus, Salman is a top-ranked litigator who has successfully represented both local and foreign corporates in some of the most high profile litigation and arbitration matters in Saudi Arabia in recent years. Salman is fluent in Arabic and English and has worked both in-house and in private practice.
