Riyadh, August 20, 2025, SPA -- The International Falcon Breeders Auction (IFBA 2025) witnessed on Tuesday the sale of a falcon from Slovenia’s GP Falcon farm for SAR151,000, making it the most expensive falcon sold so far at the auction.

Organized by the Saudi Falcons Club at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, the auction brings together leading breeding farms from across the globe and runs until August 25.

The fourth night of the auction drew significant attendance from falconers and visitors, with the sale of two falcons totaling SAR202,000.

The evening began with a falcon from the British YLS Falcons farm, sold for SAR51,000, and concluded with another falcon that opened bidding at SAR50,000 before being sold for SAR151,000.

The auction serves as a trusted platform showcasing distinguished falcon breeds through live competitive bidding attended by falconers, breeders, and enthusiasts from within the Kingdom and abroad, with events being broadcast on television and social media platforms.

It reflects the Saudi Falcons Club’s vision of leading in the development of falcon breeding, production, and care, while also serving as a cultural and economic support and a platform for promoting environmental awareness and preserving heritage.
