Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Participates in Fifth Edition of Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development in Egypt

Cairo, October 20, 2025, SPA -- On behalf of Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji participated on Sunday in the fifth edition of the Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development, held in Egypt.

The forum discussed strengthening multilateral coordination to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ensure the safety of international maritime navigation.

It also addressed the importance of enhancing cooperation among the countries bordering the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, and consolidating economic, environmental, and maritime partnerships to promote greater stability and prosperity for their nations and peoples.
