Washington, October 22, 2025, SPA -- The Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM) in the United States announced that the number of Saudi scholarship students specializing in cybersecurity for 2025 has reached 339 at more than 85 U.S. universities: 231 for bachelor’s degrees, 81 for master’s degrees, and 27 for doctoral degrees, across academic and applied tracks aligned with national digital-economy priorities. Cultural Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in the United States and Acting Attaché in Canada and Supervisor for South American Countries Tahany Aleisa said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, on the occasion of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, that sending national talent to study cybersecurity is an integral part of investing in human capital led by the wise leadership within the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Human Capability Development Program. The objective, she said, is to prepare a specialized generation that strengthens the Kingdom’s leadership and maintains its international lead in this vital field. She added that the academic and research programs the students join are built on partnerships with universities and centers of excellence, with continuous follow-up of their performance and provisions for practical training and the transfer of knowledge to national entities after graduation.
