Taif, July 29, 2026, SPA -- Al-Mohammediyah Hill in Al-Shifa, Taif Governorate, is set to host the third and final round of the Saudi Toyota Championship Hill Climb 2026 from July 31 to August 1. The event will be held under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), organized by Bakhashab Motorsport, in partnership with Jameel Motorsport, the championship's official partner, and Brandship, the strategic partner for the 2026 season. The final round comes after intense competition in the second round, where Mamoun Al-Qabbani secured his second consecutive victory and set a new course record at Al-Mohammediyah Hill with a time of 1 minute, 42.301 seconds. Faisal Sufyan Al-Qabbani finished second, while Rabie Moayyad Al-Aawar came third, intensifying the competition for the season titles. The final round will feature competition across 10 categories, in addition to the Ladies Cup, on a 4.2-kilometer course with 30 turns and an elevation ranging from 1,900 to approximately 2,150 meters above sea level, posing technical challenges that require a high level of driving skill and precision in handling the turns. The event schedule includes official practice sessions followed by four competitive runs. Final results will be determined based on each driver's two fastest times, keeping the competition open until the final runs. The concluding round marks the decisive stage of the 2026 season, where the overall and category champions will be crowned. It continues the championship's journey since its launch in 2017 and its move to Taif in 2023, further promoting hill climb racing and reinforcing Taif's position as a key motorsport destination in the Kingdom.
