14 Russian companies under the national brand Made in Russia took part in the international interior design, decor, furniture, light and fit-outs exhibition INDEX 2023 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 23-25 May.

As part of a collective stand under the auspices of the Russian Export Centre (REC), companies from Russia presented modern furniture products, accessories and materials for organising space in kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms, interior decoration, decorative lighting, surface design and flooring design.

Russian companies shared design solutions with visitors to the exhibition and leading specialists from the Middle East region, as well as attended open discussions at INDEX Design Talks and the Retail Leadership Forum.

Russian representatives held business negotiations with international business, including a multi-stakeholder meeting with Mr. Wassim Yahia, Business Development Manager at the Dubai Design District, on 24 May, as a part of the business programme for the Russian collective stand. In total, companies held more than 150 targeted meetings at the Made in Russia stand over the 3 days of the exhibition.

Thus, participation in INDEX 2023 under the Made in Russia brand allowed Russian exporters to discover new opportunities for development and promotion of their brands in the Middle East. Representatives were able to gain best practices among industry leaders and make the necessary business contacts with potential partners.
