 Riyadh, January 10, 2026, SPA -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement today expressing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's deep regret over the damage sustained by the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, as a result of recent shelling. The ministry affirmed the necessity of protecting diplomatic missions and their personnel in accordance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The ministry also reiterated the Kingdom's support for all diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the Russian-Ukrainian crisis through peaceful means.
