October 2024, Riyadh | Zuma, the internationally acclaimed contemporary Japanese Izakaya, is set to open its doors in Riyadh this December. In partnership with MJS Holding, Saudi Arabia’s leading hospitality investment and management company, the highly anticipated opening will bring Zuma’s signature style and acclaimed culinary experience to the heart of King Abdullah Financial District.

With a traditional yet modern izakaya experience, Zuma Riyadh will showcase the brand’s celebrated concept found in global hotspots like London, Bangkok, and Dubai with three distinct kitchens: the main kitchen, robata grill, and sushi counter. Spread across two floors and offering an expansive dining space linked by a sweeping spiral staircase, Zuma Riyadh will feature a vibrant restaurant and lounge, sushi counters, a signature bar, and a DJ counter, setting the stage for an energetic ambiance.

Guests can expect to indulge in Zuma’s sophisticated cuisine philosophy as it brings its signature dishes known and loved worldwide, such as the Tsubu-miso Gake Hinadori No Obun Yaki, a baby chicken marinated in barley miso and oven roasted on cedar woodand the Wagyu Gunkan No Fuyu Torifu, a delectable wagyu beef tartare and black truffleEstablished in London in 2002 by acclaimed chef restaurateur Rainer Becker and entrepreneur Arjun Waney, Zuma has become a global icon of contemporary and elegant dining. Inspired by the informal yet sophisticated Japanese dining style, Zuma combines bold flavours with high-quality ingredients, offering an elevated yet relaxed dining experience.
