Elite Local Falconers Crowned with 12 Cups at King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival

Riyadh, January 7, 2026, SPA -- Twelve elite local falconers were crowned with King Abdulaziz Cups in the Milwah Race at the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025, organized by the Saudi Falcons Club at its Malham headquarters, north of Riyadh, amid wide international participation.

The elite local rounds of the cups saw the participation of 120 falcons, averaging ten falcons per round, having qualified from the preliminary rounds.

This year, the festival brings together falconers from various countries, led by participants from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, alongside Spain, Italy, Ireland, Pakistan, and Syria, as the festival continues to enhance its global presence following its achievement of three Guinness World Records as the largest falcon festival in terms of participating falcons.
