Buqayq, March 23, 2026, SPA -- Buqayq Governorate celebrated Eid Al-Fitr yesterday with a variety of festive events organized by the municipality, in an atmosphere filled with joy and happiness. The events witnessed a notable turnout and strong engagement from residents and visitors who came to participate in celebratory programs targeting various age groups, boosting social bonds and attracting visitors from within and outside the governorate in a comprehensive festive environment. The activities included a range of entertainment programs, featuring interactive theater performances, a dedicated children’s corner, a coloring area, and physical games aimed at bringing joy to children and enhancing the family-friendly atmosphere. President of Buqayq Municipality Eng. Mohammed Al-Dhafiri noted that the municipality completed its preparations for the occasion, including preparing public spaces, installing 27 aesthetic installations in squares and roads, and intensifying cleaning and maintenance of parks and recreational areas to provide a safe, well-prepared environment for visitors. Al-Dhafiri added that the diversity of activities and the notable public turnout highlight the municipality’s success in delivering distinctive entertainment content, noting that these steps primarily aim to enhance the quality of life in the governorate and create attractive recreational spaces that foster happiness and well-being for all segments of society.
