Riyadh, July 8, 2026, SPA -- Switzerland booked the final spot in the FIFA World Cup 2026 quarterfinals after defeating Colombia 4-3 on penalties following a goalless draw in regular and extra time in their match on Tuesday at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada.
The Swiss team will now face Argentina in the quarterfinals, completing the tournament’s final eight lineup.
