Riyadh, 8 December 2022: King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Madinah (KFSH&RC Madinah) has been named among the top three projects in the world by the Project Management Institute (PMI) under the Large and Mega Projects category. PMI is the leading professional association for project management and the authority for a growing global community of millions of project professionals and individuals who use project management skills. The Large and Mega Projects category recognizes complex projects that best deliver superior performance of project management practices, excellent organizational results, and a positive impact on society. KFSH&RC Madinah’s global recognition is a testament to its administrative system's efficiency and effectiveness. Furthermore, PMI also evaluated KFSH&RC Madinah’s services according to the latest international standards. The hospital received several honorary mentions at the Global Project Management Institute Summit that was held between 1 and 3 December in Las Vegas, USA. The summit was attended by the largest community of changemakers, leaders, and project professionals committed to making ideas a reality. In addition, KFSH&RC Madinah was recently awarded the 'Best Social Project' 2022, which was presented by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in the Kingdom as part of the Project Management Offices Summit that was held in November in Riyadh.
The award considers KFSH&RC Madinah’s process of accepting patients, evaluating eligibility for treatment, empowering local talent, and collaborating with charities and other broader partners. KFSH&RC Madinah is 331,000 square meters and aims to provide the best and finest healthcare services to citizens, residents, and pilgrims.
