Riyadh, January 21, 2026, SPA -- The Esports World Cup Foundation, the global non-profit organization behind the Esports World Cup, announced a record prize pool of $75 million for the Esports World Cup 2026, which will be hosted in Riyadh from July 6 to August 23.

The tournament is the largest esports tournament in the world, featuring over 2,000 professional players representing more than 200 clubs from about 100 countries, competing in 25 championships across 24 global games.

The Esports World Cup Foundation's Chief Executive Officer Ralf Reichert confirmed that the record prize pool aims to support players and clubs and to transform the lives of professionals in the sector. He noted that the tournament is a multi-game club championship that crowns an overall club champion rather than a single-game winner.

The club championship, the event’s premier competition, will receive $30 million distributed among the top 24 clubs, an increase of $3 million from last year, with the overall champion club awarded $7 million.

Prizes for the various game tournaments will exceed $39 million, along with additional awards such as the Best Player Award, the Jafonso Award, and bonuses linked to qualifiers and preliminary tournaments.

The 2026 edition features 24 of the world’s most popular competitive games, with new additions including Fortnite and Trackmania, alongside major titles such as League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, VALORANT, PUBG, EA Sports FC 26, and others.
