Buraidah, January 24, 2026, SPA -- The 17th Klija Festival in Buraidah concluded yesterday after a 15-day program, recording attendance exceeding 500,000 visitors. More than 340 sales outlets, marketing corners, and points of sale received visitors during the festival, which also provided 1,500 seasonal job opportunities. The event was organized by the Qassim Chamber of Commerce at the King Khalid Cultural Center in Buraidah. Qassim Chamber Secretary-General and festival supervisor Mohammed Al-Hanaya explained that the festival served as an effective economic and marketing platform, bringing together families working in the cottage industry, artisans, small and medium enterprise entrepreneurs, companies, and institutions. He noted that the integrated ecosystem stimulated commercial activity, opened direct marketing channels, and enhanced economic returns for participants. It provided seasonal employment opportunities for more than 1,500 young men and women across organization, operations, marketing, and services, reflecting the festival’s role in supporting the labor market, empowering national talent, and connecting youth to the events industry and the creative economy. The Klija Festival is part of the Qassim Chamber’s efforts to enhance the business environment and transform heritage events into developmental and economic tools that contribute to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
