TKD Lingerie celebrates Bahrain store opening

UAE & Bahrain, September 22, 2016:   TKD Lingerie held a day-long celebration (Tuesday 20th September) to commemorate the opening of its first Bahrain boutique in Al Aali Shopping Complex. Throughout the day customers were welcomed into the boutique to discover the new, and carefully selected, Autumn Winter collection, and to meet the TKD team.

With its warm and inviting atmosphere, customers had plenty of time to peruse the collection before selecting their favourite pieces. The trained TKD team were on hand to share their expertise in fitting and product knowledge.

“Our fitting service is an area we truly excel in. We spend time training our team to ensure that they understand what makes an excellent fitting bra - one that offers the correct support, comfort and look for each customer. Furthermore, our team have amazing knowledge of our product range, which ensures they can easily and effectively assist customers whenever they visit the boutique,” says Kate Kikano, Managing Director of TKD Lingerie.

TKD’s gorgeous lingerie line-up includes everyday essentials through to fashion forward and luxurious pieces; maternity, swimwear and nightwear collections can also be found in the beautiful boutique. Featured brands include Panache, Cleo, Curvy Kate, Cyberjammies, Fantasie, Freya, Cake Maternity, Hotmilk, Audelle and Miss Mandalay.

TKD Lingerie embraces Panache ‘Role Models’ Campaign

Together with celebrating its Bahrain boutique opening, TKD Lingerie also launched the latest ‘Modelled By Role Models’ campaign from Panache. The campaign is driven by a desire to find the next generation of role models - those that are admired for their personal achievements as opposed to merely their physical attributes.

The campaign launched last year and celebrated six female role models - each chosen for their individual strengths, achievements and contributions to society as well as their healthy approach to body image. This year, six role models were once again chosen - this time voted for by members of the public in the UK.

This year’s six role models are: Danish aid worker Anja Loven, Canadian born plus size model Elly Mayday, anti-knife and gang campaigner Eliza Rebeiro, blogger and author, Sylwia Blach from Poland, fundraiser Emily Findlay who has raised money for various charities across Scotland and Jayne Hurditch, founder of the successful charity Amy’s House based in Sheffield. Each role model is captured for the campaign wearing best selling styles from the Panache lingerie collection.

Speaking on the Panache campaign, and why TKD Lingerie is such a big advocate of its positive message, Kate says: “It’s refreshing to see a campaign that champions true role models - women who are strong, confident and committed to making their communities healthier and happier. The images from the campaign clearly show how confidence and self-belief are the true source of beauty. Feeling comfortable and happy in our own bodies is something all women should aspire too.”

TKD Lingerie has been running its own ‘Role Models’ campaign across social media, with the TKD team and customers revealing the women that inspire them. See more at: @tkd_lingerie and facebook.com/TKDGCC
